Life Stats
PlayableZoom out on your life.
You know how old you are. But how many years have you spent asleep? How far has Earth carried you around the Sun? And if your whole life fitted into a single day, what time would it be right now? Life Stats turns your birthday into a small, surprising journey through your life in numbers.
Enter your first name, date of birth and country, then zoom out. The journey begins with your body: sleep, heartbeats and the time you have already lived. Each step pulls back a little further, from the world you were born into to humanity, your ancestors, Earth's orbit and the light arriving from distant stars. Then it brings you back to yourself.
This is not a game you beat. It is an interactive life statistics calculator with a slightly cosmic point of view. A familiar number — your age — becomes a collection of things you probably never thought to count. You have been travelling through space this entire time. Even on the days you stayed in bed.
How to play
Enter a first name, choose your birth month, day and year, and select your country. Press Start the zoom to begin, or Try an example to explore without entering your own details.
Tap the scene or press Next to move through the ten stages. Use Back to revisit a previous view. At the end, open All stats to see the numbers together, download an image, or make a vertical video reel in a supported browser.
What your birthday can tell you
- Your body: estimated years spent asleep and the number of times your heart has beaten since birth.
- Your life as one day: a clock that places your age within an estimated lifespan, using your country as a starting point.
- The world then and now: population changes and historical US price comparisons from the year you were born.
- Your place in humanity: how your age compares with the global population and an estimate of your place among everyone who has ever lived.
- Your ancestors: why a family tree cannot keep doubling forever without branches meeting.
- Earth and space: approximate distance travelled around the Sun and a nearby star whose light-travel time is close to your age.
- Back to you: an estimate of summers ahead and a final view of your life loading bar.
A birthday calculator with a bigger view
An age calculator tells you how much time has passed. Life Stats asks what happened during that time. Your heart kept beating, the population changed, and Earth completed another lap around the Sun. Seeing those scales together can make an ordinary birthday feel a little less ordinary.
Try it for your own birthday, compare the journey with a friend's, or explore an example. There is no best result and no score to chase. The interesting part is noticing which number makes you stop for a moment.
Take your life stats with you
The final screen offers an image download and a vertical video reel of the journey. The image brings several highlights together; the reel moves through the scenes. Video export depends on your browser and may produce an MP4 or WebM file. You can then share the downloaded file wherever you like.
FAQ
What is Life Stats?
Life Stats is a free interactive birthday-based calculator that turns your age into a visual journey through sleep, heartbeats, humanity, Earth and space. It has ten stages and a summary of your results.
Are my life statistics exact?
No. Time since birth comes from your date of birth, while sleep, heartbeats, lifespan and other figures use averages and simplified models. Your habits, health and personal circumstances are not measured.
Does Life Stats predict how long I will live?
No. The life clock, loading bar and summers ahead are illustrations based on population averages and an age adjustment. They are not personal predictions or medical advice.
Do the price comparisons use my country's prices?
No. The home and Big Mac comparisons use historical US figures, regardless of the country you select. Your country is used as a starting point for the lifespan estimate.
Do I need an account or a download?
No. Life Stats runs free in your browser, with no account or installation. You can also try an example instead of entering your birthday.
Is my birthday saved?
Life Stats calculates your results inside your browser. The game does not send your name, birthday or country to TwentyFun's database. Normal website visit tracking is separate from the details you enter.
Made for curiosity, not medical or financial decisions. Figures are estimates from averages and embedded historical data, not live measurements. A life expectancy average cannot tell you how long you personally will live.
