Ragdoll Canyon

Playable

One dummy. Two cliffs. A very questionable plan.

Ragdoll Canyon is a free ragdoll physics game about getting a crash-test dummy from one cliff to another. You build the route. The dummy supplies the flailing limbs. Place a few unlikely bits of equipment, press GO and watch your carefully considered plan become a ragdoll drop into a very deep canyon.

Start with a trampoline and work your way through 12 levels in Sunset Canyon. Fans, bumpers, planks, boost rings, magnets, cannons and ziplines gradually join your toolbox. Each level gives you a limited set of parts, so the puzzle is not just reaching the other side: it is working out what to place, where to place it and which way it should point.

If you like ragdoll drop games or watching a ragdoll flip through the air, this one gives you a little more responsibility for the disaster. The dummy moves under physics once launched; you do not steer it mid-flight. A small change to a trampoline's angle can turn a failed jump into a ridiculous landing. Play in your browser without a download or account.

How to play

Choose an unlocked level or press Continue from the title screen. Pick an available tool from the tray, then place it in the canyon. You can also drag a tool from the tray into the scene. The first level marks a suggested spot for your trampoline.

Drag placed parts to adjust your contraption. Select a rotatable part and use the rotation controls, or Q and E on a keyboard, to change its angle. Remove a selected part when you want to try something else, or use Clear to start the layout again.

Press GO or Space to launch the dummy. Watch where the attempt goes wrong, stop the run and tweak your layout. Reach the goal on the far cliff to clear the level, collect stars and unlock the next challenge. Show all zooms out so you can inspect the full route.

A ragdoll launcher with a build-first twist

Rather than just aiming a ragdoll cannon at a target, you arrange a chain of things that can change the dummy's journey. A trampoline can catch a falling body, a fan can help it climb and a boost ring can send a promising attempt much farther than planned. Later levels add cannons and ziplines to the mix.

The canyon gets wider and less forgiving as you go. Rock pillars, awkward ledges and wind force you to rethink the route. Some levels include fixed equipment that has to become part of your solution. There is room for both a tidy build and something that only works because the dummy landed on its head.

Fewer parts, more stars

Clearing a level is the first goal. Using fewer placed parts is the next. Successful runs earn up to three stars based on how many items your contraption uses compared with that level's target. Revisit a completed level to see whether one well-aimed bounce can replace a whole pile of equipment.

Your layouts, completed levels and best star results are saved locally in the same browser when browser storage is available. Sunset Canyon is the playable world in this version; Neon City is shown as coming soon.

FAQ

Is Ragdoll Canyon free to play?

Yes. Play the full Sunset Canyon world free in your browser, with no account or download required.

Is this a ragdoll drop game or a ragdoll flip game?

It is a build-and-launch ragdoll physics puzzle. Drops, flips and chaotic bounces happen during the run, but your job is to place the equipment that gets the dummy across the canyon, not perform manual flip inputs.

Can I control the dummy after launching it?

No. Once you press GO, physics and your placed equipment determine the route. Stop the attempt and change your contraption if the dummy misses the goal.

How many levels are available?

This version has 12 playable levels in Sunset Canyon. A second world, Neon City, is previewed as coming soon.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Use touch to place and move equipment. The game recommends turning your phone sideways for more room, but also offers Play upright anyway.

Does the game save my progress?

It saves level layouts, completion and best star results in local browser storage when available. Use the same browser and device to return to them; clearing that storage removes the save.
