The Perfect Pour

Playable

One more drop. What could possibly go wrong?

The Perfect Pour is a free online timing game about a very small decision: when to stop pouring. Hold to open the tap, watch the glass fill, then let go so the liquid settles inside the band around the fill line. Too little or too much, and the diner hands you the check.

The first tumbler looks harmless. Later pours bring different glass shapes, foamy lager, fizzy soda and slow honey. Ice takes up space, some glasses need two layers, and eventually the glass itself can move. The rules stay simple; your idea of a safe stopping point does not.

If you like timing games and little precision challenges, this fill-the-glass game gives you one job and plenty of ways to mess it up. There is no fixed final level: keep pouring until you miss, then try to beat your best run.

How to play

Hold your mouse button on the game, touch and hold on your phone, or hold Space on a keyboard to pour. Release to close the tap. Watch the liquid still falling from the nozzle: stopping the tap does not stop those last drops.

Let the surface settle inside the marked band. A successful glass moves you to the next round automatically. For a two-layer glass, finish the first fill before pouring the second liquid to its own line.

Your score is the number of glasses successfully poured. When a pour misses the band, press Pour again to start a new run. Your personal best is saved in this browser.

A pouring game where every glass feels different

A narrow measuring cylinder fills differently from a wide martini glass. The game varies both the container and the target height, so memorizing one hold time will only get you so far. Read the shape, watch the surface, and adjust each pour.

Honey and caramel flow slowly. Beer and soda add foam that changes the visible fill level. Later rounds can add ice, layered liquids and moving glasses, turning a simple perfect pour into a small test of patience and timing.

Tips for filling the glass to the line

  • Release before the surface reaches the target: liquid already in the air still lands in the glass.
  • Watch the full surface, including foam, rather than only the liquid underneath.
  • Use small follow-up pours while you are still below the band instead of committing to one long hold.
  • Treat a new glass shape as a new challenge. A narrow neck can fill much faster than the bowl below it.

FAQ

Is The Perfect Pour game free?

Yes. You can play it online in your browser without an account or a download.

How do I get a perfect pour?

Release the tap early enough for the remaining drops to land, then let the surface settle inside the band around the fill line. You can add a little more if you are still below it.

What happens if I overfill the glass?

If the settled fill level is outside the allowed band, the run ends. Your score counts the glasses you successfully completed, not the glass you missed.

Which liquids are in the game?

The game includes colorful thin liquids, lager, cola, fizzy sodas, honey, slime and caramel. Foamy drinks and thick syrups behave differently, so they need different timing.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Touch and hold to pour, then lift your finger to stop. On desktop, use your mouse or the Space key.
