Odd Eye
PlayableOne tile didn't get the memo.
Odd Eye is a free odd one out game with a clock that has absolutely no patience. A grid appears, nearly every tile matches, and one is doing its own thing. Find it and tap it before the timer empties. Your next grid arrives with a fresh clock and another tiny difference to catch.
The first rounds ask you to compare colors and sizes. Keep going and rotation, dot counts, mirrored shapes and different outlines join the mix. Later, the tiles move: one bobs out of rhythm, spins at a different speed or blinks out of sync. Looking at a still picture is no longer enough.
Choose a three-, five- or eight-second clock, then see how far your eyes can carry you. Faster answers earn more points, consecutive correct picks build a combo, and four correct rounds take you to the next level. Play straight in your browser, without an account or download.
How to play
Choose Blitz for three seconds per round, Rush for five or Steady for eight. After the countdown, click or tap the one tile that differs from the others.
A correct pick refills the round timer. Look for a difference in color, size, angle, count, reflection, shape or movement. A wrong pick costs one second and breaks your streak, so frantic guessing has a price.
Clear four rounds to level up. When the clock runs out, check your score, accuracy, best streak and fastest answer. Choose Again for another run or Change clock to try a different pace.
An odd one out game that keeps changing the question
Instead of finding the animal that does not belong in a group, you are comparing visual details. One circle may have a slightly different shade. One shape may be larger, turned the other way or carrying an extra dot. The rule changes between rounds, so the detail you just learned to look for may be the wrong clue next time.
The grid begins at 3×3 and grows as you advance, with its maximum size adjusted to the available screen space. After level ten, the timer also starts getting shorter. Odd Eye has endless levels rather than a fixed list of puzzles to finish.
Quick eyes, longer streaks
Points depend on how quickly you find the different tile, the grid size and your combo. Consecutive correct picks build the streak multiplier up to ×4. Blitz adds a ×3 mode multiplier, Rush adds ×2 and Steady uses ×1. Compare your records within each mode rather than treating every clock as the same challenge.
Your best score and the level reached in that best-scoring run are kept separately for each clock in the same browser when local storage is available. The sound preference is saved too. An unfinished run is not resumed, and records are not synchronized across devices.
FAQ
What is an odd one out game?
It is a game where you identify the one item that differs from the others. In Odd Eye, the difference is visual: color, size, rotation, dot count, mirrored shape, outline or animation.
Is Odd Eye free?
Yes. Play all three clock modes and the endless levels free in your browser, with no account or download.
What happens if I pick the wrong tile?
A wrong pick deducts one second and resets your streak. The run ends when the round timer runs out.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Tap the different tile with your finger. The game adjusts its grid size to the space available on your screen.
Does it save my high score?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Each clock mode has its own best score and associated level, saved on the same browser and device. It does not save an unfinished run.
Is this an eyesight or attention test?
No. Odd Eye is an observation game, not a clinical test. Screen settings, time pressure and familiarity with the patterns can all affect your score; it cannot diagnose vision or attention conditions.
